About HEIC Converter
iPhone and some cameras save photos as HEIC or HEIF. Email, older software, and many upload forms still ask for JPG or PNG. This page converts still photos in the browser, up to 20 at a time. The primary job is heic to jpg. PNG is the other export on this same page, not a second address. Drop photos or pick them together, then download one image or a ZIP of the ones that succeeded.
Choose JPG for everyday photos. JPG is lossy, and the quality number is applied once: High is 92, Standard is 85, and Smaller is 70. A lower number usually means a smaller file and a softer picture. Choose PNG for a lossless-friendly file, which is often larger. A Live Photo or burst may hold extra frames. This page keeps the first still only and says so. It does not change width or height.
The photos never go to a UtilGenie server. Decoding and the single encode happen on this device. Closing the tab drops the preview. Each file has a size limit, and a large album may need another batch if the device runs short of memory. The tool checks the file name and the bytes. A JPEG renamed to .heic is refused.
If a file is damaged or uses a variant this page cannot read, that file stops with an error and the rest of the batch can still finish. Keep the original HEIC when you still need the camera file. After the JPG or PNG exists, a related tool on this page can shrink that copy or change its pixel size. This converter does not do that work. The download name is cleaned so it cannot include a path or markup.
