How do I split a PDF into separate pages?
Open the split PDF tool, add your file, choose all pages or a page range, then download the split output. You can extract specific pages or separate the document into smaller PDFs.
Save every page, or the ranges you type, as separate PDFs
Splitting happens in this browser. The original is not uploaded or changed. Limit 25 MB and 200 pages.
Each comma-separated part becomes its own PDF. Numbers start at 1.
Runs in your browser. No signup required.
Sometimes you only need a few pages from a longer PDF: a signed page, a receipt, or one chapter. This splitter cuts the file in your browser. You can make one PDF per page, or type ranges such as 1-3, 5 and download each range as its own file. Extracting pages is a feature on this address. It is not a separate page.
Page numbers start at 1 and follow the order of pages in the file, which may differ from a number printed in a footer. A backwards range, a page that does not exist, or a blank list is rejected with a specific message so you can fix the request. The original file is not modified. Each download is a new PDF containing only the pages you asked for. Choosing every page saves each page as its own file.
Processing stays on this device. The tool checks the name, the MIME type when the browser provides one, and the PDF header before it tries to read the document. Corrupt or password-protected files stop with an error. PDFs larger than the size cap, or with more than 200 pages, are refused so a hostile or accidental giant file cannot freeze the tab.
After you split, you can compress a smaller piece or send one page without the rest of the packet. If you needed the words in a document you can edit, use PDF to Word on a part that actually contains selectable text. Keep a copy of the full PDF. Splitting does not redact hidden content that a PDF editor might still store, so do not treat a split as a security wipe.

Yes. Use extract / page-range options to keep only the pages you need. Extract pages is a feature of this splitter—not a separate UtilGenie URL.
Split separates or extracts pages from one PDF. Merge combines multiple PDFs into one. Use split to break apart; merge to join.
UtilGenie’s browser-based PDF splitter processes files on your device so pages aren’t uploaded to UtilGenie servers for the split.
Not required. Split by pages first if you only need part of a document; use compress PDF if the file is still too large after you extract what you need.
